Sorting by quality
- Grade A — width 100 mm and above, the surface of the veneer is flat, without core and stem rays, mechanical defects. “Live” knots — 1 piece per linear meter. Uniform color pattern.
- Grade B — width 100 mm and more. Errors: corrugations (irregularities), stem and medullary rays, “live” knots, color uneven.
- Grade C — width 90 mm and more. The following errors are allowed: corrugation, sapwood (protein part of the stem), stem and medullary rays, knots.
We also sort on request related varieties — “AB, BC”. This makes it possible to fully satisfy requests in the “price-quality” ratio.
Using of American Walnut sliced veneer
American Walnut sliced veneer is a hard and tough material of medium density. The texture is medium with straight, streaked grains. Spreading grains may occur. There is a natural moderate luster.
Good for treatment due to smooth grains. It is well transfer bonding, soaking, etching, finishing, bending with steam. Due to porosity, it is not recommended for use in wet environment.

Characteristics of American Walnut wood
American walnut is a sprecie with a pronounced dark heartwood and light sapwood. Violet pith rays, dark grains can occur. The texture is uniform, dense, with even grain and medium pores.
It has the following advantages: high stability, impact resistance, density, hardness. These characteristics lead to making high quality veneer from it.
