Features of wood
Cherry belongs to hard species, with a pale brown heartwood, greenish tree rings, light orange color of sapwood. In Ukraine, this is a common wood, but products from it are valued for their exclusive appearance, especially in other countries.
The structure is thin-layered, with frequent rings forming wave-like parallel lines. Core rays are not expressed. The surface is satin, with pores of medium size.
