Characteristics of wood
Obeche (African oak) is an exotic species known for its strength combined with softness, which gives to it a great workability. The wood has light hues from straw yellow to creamy white. The texture is even, smooth, the grains are tangled and twisted, visible on the radial cut. Obeche is perfectly processed, despite its high density, both manually and mechanically.
