• Texture. Medium-rough, with a fine grain, silky, with a natural luster, uniform arrangement of pores, resinous. 
• Colour. The heartwood is darker than sapwood, the color of tree rings is bright. After drying and storage, it acquires a golden hue, and sapwood becomes yellowish white. 
• Pattern. The alternation of light and dark lines with a pronounced core. Tree rings are tightly close.
