Characteristics of wood
Lebanese cedar — wood with a pronounced heartwood with tints of beige and slightly reddish. The sapwood is narrow — from pale yellow to white. Straight-grain texture, cross-grain may occur. The medium-rough texture has a natural silky glance. Growth rings are resinous, with high color contrast, small.
It has the following properties: medium dryness with a tendency to deformation, medium density, and hardness, low impact resistance, good bending strength, poorly tolerates moisture and temperature changes.
