Characteristics of wood
Black walnut is one of the most valuable and unique hardwoods. It grows throughout the United States, partly in Canada. It has a rich brown color of a heartwood, a distinctive pattern of grain like oak, a luster surface. The grains are located very close to each other, creating a bright pattern.
