Birch veneer has a medium density, high strength. The material is resistant to impact, chipping, elastic and bends well. Suitable only for internal work, as the wood is not moisture resistant, prone to decay, fungi, pests. Also, it is not resistant to subzero temperatures, sharp changes. Recommended for use in dry, warm, well-ventilated areas with a normal level of humidity. Due to its physical properties, the edge banding made of birch is perfectly polished, colored, stained, and amenable to other types of processing. It can be used to imitate other tree species.
