Features of the blockboard
The blockboard is a pine board, from 16 to 60 thickness mm, made of slats or bars, pasted over with birch veneer in one or two layers. The joinery is resistant to deformation, lightweight and durable. The advantages are the possibility of its use without additional veneering, greater strength in comparison with the solid wood.
Although pine belongs to soft breeds, it differs in strength, durability, and resistance to external factors. It is also an affordable material, whose price will allow it to be used in low-cost projects.
