Characteristics of wood
Robinia relates to heartwood species, with a distinctly visible sapwood. The heartwood is greenish-brown, the sapwood is light, the surface has a silky matte luster. Over time, the wood darkens, acquiring a noble appearance. Grains are distinguishable as winding lines or stripes. The texture is bright, varied, which makes acacia such a unique breed.
Robinia board is versatile in processing. It is polished, painted, varnished, holds fasteners (screws, nails), does not crack when drilled. In terms of resistance to external factors, it is a hardwood breed. It does not rot, retains its shape for a long time in dry rooms, resistant to moisture. It is widely used for indoor and outdoor needs.
