- Grade A — width 100 mm and above, the surface of the veneer is flat, without core and stem rays, mechanical defects. “Live” knots — 1 piece per linear meter. Uniform color pattern.
- Grade B — width 100 mm and more. Errors: corrugations (irregularities), stem and medullary rays, “live” knots, color uneven.
- Grade C — width 90 mm and more. The following errors are allowed: corrugation, sapwood (protein part of the stem), stem and medullary rays, knots.

Using of Zebrawood sliced veneer
Zebrano sliced veneer is an exotic material for creating unique products. The pattern resembles stripes of a zebra, with alternate narrow light and dark stripes. The color is golden yellow with brown.
It is difficult to work with, but holds the fasteners, polishes and takes glue well. Before starting work, a filler is required. Can be varnished, yet paint is not recommended.

Characteristics of wood
Zebrano comes from West Africa. This is a wood with a high density, rough texture and open pores. It is distinguished by high strength, wear resistance, resistance to insects and fungi.
The heartwood is light brown with dark stripes. Sapwood is bright. The texture is coarse, wavy or interlocked grains. Diffused vascular structure causes very large pores. At the same time, vascular rays are imperceptible. It is well processed, sawn, but the manufacture of sliced veneer requires great effort.
